Are women less corrupt than men – a lecture on the many faces on corruption from a gender perspective
Corruption is at the heart of today’s world’s problems such as extreme poverty, unemployment, climate change, and terrorism. It erodes public trust in government, undermines the rule of law, and gives rise to political and economic protests that fuel violent extremism. Is it possible to protect yourself from abuse of power and corruption? Is it more difficult to bribe a woman than a man? Does corruption affect progress towards gender equality? Can gender awareness become a tool in fighting corruption?
To discuss all these questions, we have a pleasure to invite you on the public lecture “Are women less corrupt than men – a lecture on the many faces on corruption from a gender perspective” by a Swedish expert Lena Andersson
