On 14-15 June in Kyiv, at “Parkovsky” Exhibition Center, took place a large-scale event in the field of information technologies – Global Cybersecurity Summit 2017.

The summit was held with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the Committee of Information and Communication of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and the State Innovation Finance and Credit Institution.

Within 2 days the participants had the opportunity to participate in the discussion of interesting and important issues in the field of cyber security. The main speakers of the event were foreign guests and domestic speakers, including former US intelligence officials.

The summit discussed such issues as the creation of a new generation of cyber professionals, the issue of artificial intelligence and machine learning, the issue of conducting secure voting in the age of digital technologies and many other interesting issues in this industry.

Each participant also had a great opportunity to communicate with speakers and special guests of the event in an informal atmosphere during coffee breaks between the plenary sessions.

Volunteers of the NGO “PORUCH” also had the opportunity to participate in the process of organizing this event. It was a great opportunity for them to gain experience and observe the organization of such a large-scale event, as well as attend lectures of leading experts in the field of cyber security.
