February 11 the Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated worldwide. The holiday was introduced by the Resolution of the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly, dated December 22, 2015. This February it is celebrated for the third time.

The NGO “Poruch” team recognizes and supports the principles of equal access to education, the creation of equal opportunities for development and employment for a woman from rural and urban areas, access to science and innovation, the promotion of gender equality and empowerment of women and girls. We believe that science and gender equality is essential elements for achieving the goals of sustainable development. One of the tasks of our social activity is the struggle for women’s rights in Ukraine.

The NGO “Poruch” stood against discrimination and unequal participation in economic activity.
