On April 16, 2016 in the park of NTUU “KPI” in Kyiv was held a Roller Season Opening 2016 supported by the NGO “Poruch”, TM “Askold”, communities Typical Roller, UA-Slalom and Labour Shop.

The event brought together rollers of different ages, both professionals and amateurs, who are fond of “shoes on wheels”. Masters of rollerblading could compete in different categories and show their skills. Beginners and amateurs could spend their time in practicing their skills. Children were also presented on this festival.

One of the participants, activist of NGO “Poruch”, Khristina Hyrenko, said: “The activity of our non-governmental organization aims at raising a new generation of leaders. And the essential part of this process is a sport education! That is why rollerblading is a good example of healthy lifestyle cultivation among youth”.

At the end of the event organizers awarded prizes to winners of the rollerblading competitions from partners – NGO “Poruch” and TM “Askold”.
