On the 4thJune in Kakhovka (Kherson region) took place the first sport race for the Mayor Cup. The event was held to promote healthy lifestyle, sports, to raise moral and sports spirit of children and adults.
The race effectively consolidated the efforts of local authorities, NGOs, charities and businesses.

The company «Coca-Cola» provided drinking water TM «BonAqua» for the participants of the race.
The event was attended approximately by 700 activists of all ages. The oldest athlete was 78 years old, the youngest – 1 year and 18 months.
For participants of the race were prepare several routes – 5 km and 2 km for adults and youth, 500 meters for people with disabilities, 1 km for children under 14 and 500 meters – for children under 10 years.
Before the race for the participants was conducted a workout and during the event took place cultural-entertainment program for visitors, performances of the dance groups and musical ensembles.
Winners received prizes from the partners and sponsors – tablets, mobile phones, bags.
Activists of NGO “Poruch” – Maria Tishchenko, Yana Bryk, Vladislav Dementiev, Christina Hyrenko, Vladislav Korin, Anastasia Sulima Igor Titov and young volunteers Daniel Tishchenko and Orhan Nabiyev conducted training for the local volunteers who coordinated the event, and helped to organize the race.
The race was held on a high organizational level, participants and organizers are looking forward to continue it in the next year!
