As previously reported, during 2017 in Ukraine will be implemented a program “DOBRE” for the development of United territorial communities in Ukraine, as a point of the state reform of decentralization and administrative-territorial reform, on which members of NGO “PORUCH” Maria Tyshchenko and Oksana Melnyk called all willing activists to coordinate the project “Voice of the Community”.
On July 5-7, representatives of seven NGOs from different regions of Ukraine who were participants of the “DOBRE” program and “Voice of The Community”, became participants in the training “Constructive assessment of capacity”.
Experts from the NGO “PORUCH” Tetyana Matusevich, Yuriy Orel and Vira Usik took part in the activities “Methodology and adaptation – as an instrument for the needs of local organizations”. Within three days the participants got acquainted with the competencies and evaluation criteria, made attempts to evaluate their organization and make a conclusion on the level of development and the existing problems of NGOs. Afterward, they reviewed all competencies, analyzed the relevance for regional organizations, and planned the process of applying a modified assessment methodology for the local organizations that work with communities participating in the “DOBRE” program.
