On May 28, Mariia Tyshchenko, executive director of the NGO “Poruch”, presented the Ukrainian experience of preparing communities for crisis situations at the final seminar of the Väike-Õismäe project in Tallinn.
In her report “Community Power in Crisis - The Case of Ukraine,” she shared practical steps to help communities be prepared for challenges and emphasized the importance of cooperation between civil society and local authorities.

The event was also attended by our partners Hannes Nagel and Anne-May Nagel from the Kriisiuuringute Keskus (Crisis Research Centre), who shared their experience in strengthening community resilience in Estonia.

We are grateful to our Estonian friends for supporting Ukraine in these difficult times and for the opportunity to share knowledge and practices that help communities become stronger.

This seminar was a powerful example of how international cooperation and exchange of experience can make us all more prepared for the challenges of the future.
